You know, I never set out with a plan to enter the world of media or music. It wasn’t some inherited legacy or long-laid blueprint, it was pure instinct, driven by curiosity and an unshakable love for storytelling. I come from a completely non-filmy background. In fact, my first brush with the camera happened in the most unexpected way, while working in customer relations at Hutch, now Vodafone. They were filming a training video, and I somehow ended up in front of the lens. That tiny, spontaneous moment sparked something in me. I didn’t ignore it. I leaned into it. From there, doors started opening. I tried my hand at modeling, became a TV anchor, hosted live events; anything that allowed me to explore this newfound passion. I traveled across the country, constantly learning, constantly evolving. Eventually, everything shifted in the right direction and that changed everything. That’s when my family realized this wasn’t just a passing phase, but a true calling. With their support behind me, I took the leap—fully committed and all in.
Further, I teamed up with a brilliant creative partner, Himanshu Shekhar, and we started Vipra Dialogues. It began as a humble content platform with a big heart where just two passionate minds were trying to tell real stories. To our surprise, the content clicked. Not because it was overproduced or loud but because it was authentic. And that’s where I truly understood the magic of intention. When you create from the heart, people feel it.
That same ethos led us to launch OSM Records in 2018. Our debut track, Saaya, was deeply personal. When it resonated with audiences, it validated everything we believed in; that honest, meaningful content always finds its place. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of working with remarkable talent, from emerging voices to seasoned legends. But for me, it’s never been about numbers or views. It’s about impact. About moving people.
Yesya Media is the natural extension of this entire journey. It’s where all that we believe in converges. As a woman in a space largely dominated by male voices, I’ve had my share of challenges. But I’ve also learned the power of showing up — with patience, clarity, and purpose. I’ve learned that your voice can be your most powerful tool, if you have the courage to use it. My vision with Yesya is crystal clear: to build a creative ecosystem that amplifies unheard voices, transforms ideas into meaningful impact, and refuses to follow- instead, dares to lead. I want to keep telling stories through music, through film, through people– that stir something inside you. If there’s one truth I hold close, it’s this: your story can shape someone else’s. That’s why I do what I do, every single day.
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” — Steve Jobs
That quote? It’s more than words. It’s a mindset. It’s my truth. And trust me, this is just the beginning.
